Kolkata Knight Riders moved up closer to the top four after a comprehensive win over Chennai Super Kings at the Eden Gardens. KKR after restricting the Chennai Super Kings to 154 for 4 chased down the target with 8 wickets in hand and a couple of overs to spare.
Robin Uthappa was once again the architect of KKR win, this time cracking 67from 39 balls with 10 fours and a six. Shakib Al Hasan wrapped up the match in style slogging an unbeaten 46 from 21 balls.
Earlier, CSK struggled to get going at 60 for 2 in 10.3 overs. Suresh Raina worked hard to score 65 from 52 balls with 3 fours and 5 sixes to lift CSK to a competitive total.
Toss and Teams: Hosts Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and asked Chennai Super Kings to bat first at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata in Match no.47 of IPL 7. KKR have made one change with Pat Cummins coming in for Morne Morkel. For CSK, Samuel Badree and David Hussey replace Faf du Plessis and Ben Hilfenhaus.
